Bob Jungels crossed the finish line 45 seconds ahead of Alex Kirsch, followed in third place by Kevin Geniets with a delay of 52 seconds.

Jungels admitted he felt good about his performance, saying his decision to rest after the Critérium du Dauphiné race had paid off.

Tim Diederich as the fastest in the top flight without a contract, followed by  Mike Diener and Philippe Schmit in silver and bronze place respectively.

As expected, Christine Majerus won the women's elite race, taking the 35th championship of her career. She was joined on the podium by Mia Berg and Pia Wiltgen. Claire Faber came first of the women's hopefuls, winning ahead of Nina Berton and Maïte Barthels.

Majerus said it was good to be competing in Luxembourg again after months of cancellations and complications due to the pandemic.

Michel Ries took the title for the men's hopefuls, followed by Raphaël Kockelmann and Arthur Kluckers.

Mats Wenzel took first place among the juniors over 10.5 kilometres, followed by Jérôme Jentgen and Tom Paquet. In the women's juniors, Marie Schreiber came first, with Julie Keller and Lis Nothum in second and third place.

Franck Sertic won the Masters, followed by Olivier Zirnheld and Steve Fries.

Mathieu Kockelmann was crowned best newcomer, followed by Niels Michotte and Nik Gremling. Liv Wenzel took the female equivalent ahead of Anouk Schmitz and Lena Carier.
