TriathlonLuxembourg's Cambresy, Marti, and Lang finish in top 50 at Edmonton World Cup round

Three Luxembourg triathletes finished in the top 50 at the World Cup round in Edmonton, Canada, with Lucas Cambresy leading the way in 27th place, in a race that also counts towards qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Luxembourg athletes were in action in Edmonton, Canada, with Lucas Cambresy, Théo Marti, and David Lang all finishing in the top 50 at a World Cup round.

In the triathlon race, which included a sprint distance and also counts as a qualifying event for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, Cambresy finished 27th, Marti 31st, and Lang 47th.

After a tough swim, Cambresy and Marti found themselves in a second group, which caught the front pack during the bike leg. Lang was further back in a third group. The three athletes also dug deep on the run, with Cambresy and Marti eventually picking up points towards the Olympic qualification standings. Marti also stays in the top 200 in the world rankings.
