One dead and several injured in major collision between bus and two cars

A serious accident involving a bus and two cars on the B327 between Gödenroth and Kastellaun in Rhineland-Palatinate left one person dead and several others injured on Thursday morning.

The accident occurred at around 7am on Thursday on the B327 road between Gödenroth and Kastellaun in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. According to information from Koblenz police, a collision took place involving a scheduled service bus carrying 19 passengers, among them several children, as well as two cars.

Police reported that one person lost their life at the scene, while several other people sustained minor injuries.

Emergency services are currently at the scene, and the road remains closed in both directions as rescue operations continue.

Women in Luxembourg 3 times more likely to work part-time

• The National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (STATEC) reported that at the end of 2025, 494,000 people were working in the Grand Duchy. 47% of them were cross-border workers, and only one in four employees held Luxembourgish nationality.
• Their recent figures also show that residents are increasingly working in less "traditional" arrangements, such as full-time with permanent contracts with standard daytime hours from Monday to Friday.
