It's official! Luxembourg's outdoor bathing season has arrived. From 1 May all the way through to 30 September, water aficionados will be able to take to the water at the Upper Sûre lakes, the Weiswampach lakes, the Echternach lake as well as the "Baggerweieren" in Remerschen.

The Water Management Agency (AGE) monitors and analyses water quality at all sites regularly throughout the season. According to AGE's evaluations at the end of last season, the Upper Sûre lakes, the Weiswampach lakes (Zones 1-4), and the Baggerweieren in Remerschen (Zones 1-4) all received an excellent rating, while the designated swimming area at Echternach Lake was classified as good.

For a detailed overview of all bathing spots across Luxembourg, including their bathing quality assessments, swimmers are advised to consult the AGE's dedicated website (in French).
