A 38-year-old woman from Nospelt died after her vehicle collided head-on into a tree. The driver crashed into a tree on the left-hand side of the road just before the left-hand turning to Quatre Vents.
The road remained closed to traffic for nearly three hours to allow the emergency services to respond to the incident and clear the scene up.
