
At around 3am on Saturday morning, Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) teams were alerted to a car on fire on Rue du Bois in Eischen. Emergency services from Hobscheid, Steinfort, and Mamer were deployed to the scene. Police later confirmed that the vehicle involved was an electric car.
After extinguishing the fire, the emergency teams moved the vehicle out of the residential area and placed it outside Eischen, to prevent further damage in case the flames reignited.
Later, just before 5pm, an accident occurred in Lamadelaine on Avenue de l’Europe, where two cars collided. Emergency services from Käerjeng and Sanem-Differdange attended to one injured person.
Shortly before 6pm, another person was injured in Clervaux during a fire, with local emergency services responding to the incident.
