At around 2.50pm on Monday, two cars collided on the A3 motorway heading towards Metz. No one was injured in the incident.
However, there was one injury reported in Niederkorn on Route de Bascharage, where a tractor and a lorry collided at 3.44pm. Emergency services from Sanem and Differdange tended to the scene.
Another person was injured in a separate crash in Ettelbruck on Avenue des Alliés at 3.47pm, where two vehicles were involved in a collision. Paramedics and firefighters from the Nordstad region were deployed.
According to the bulletin of the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), a hedge caught fire in Esch-sur-Alzette, but firefighters were able to extinguish the flames quickly. A more significant fire was reported earlier that afternoon on a balcony in Merl.
