
Shortly after 2.30pm, several cars collided on the N31 at Croix de Cessange. Paramedics arrived from Luxembourg City, Mamer, Bettembourg, and Kayl, in addition to Luxembourg City’s firefighters. Five people were injured and admitted to the hospital.
Two hours later, the emergency doctor from Esch was called to an accident which occurred between Pétange and Bascharage. Two cars had collided, leaving five people injured. Paramedics from Pétange and Esch tended to the scene, aided by Pétange’s fire brigade.
