Subtropical air has already pushed temperatures up 5 to 9°C above seasonal norms in western France, which, La Chaîne Météo describes as ‘April-like temperatures.’ The warm front is expected to cross the Grand Duchy during the night, creating mild but humid air at the start of next week.

The cloudy and unstable weather forecasted by Meteolux for the coming days will be unusual for December. This Sunday afternoon, temperatures are expected to reach 10°C with persistent showers, especially toward the end of the day.

Temperatures will rise during the night and reach between 7°C and 9°C early Monday morning. Tomorrow, during the day, temperatures will be rather mild for the season, ranging between 10 and 12°C. Strong winds are expected on Monday, with gusts reaching 45 to 55 km/h according to the government’s official meteorological website.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be the two warmest days of a mild week, as Meteolux forecasts temperatures climbing up to 13°C. During the night, up until Thursday included, temperatures will remain well above zero, up to 10°C on Tuesday and up to 8°C on Wednesday.

On Friday, more wintry temperatures will return, with temperatures set to drop to 0°C at night.
