Make sure you soak up some sun in the morning, as moderate showers are forecast for the afternoon, with highs reaching 25 to 27°C. By evening, thunderstorms and hail are possible, followed by rain throughout the night.
If thunderstorms do develop, wind gusts of up to 65 km/h are expected.
And as for the brave souls running the ING Night Marathon, between the rain, wind, and hail, you might almost think you’ve wandered into your grandparents’ classic “this was my commute to school” tale. Either that, or Mother Nature simply isn’t sold on the idea of a 42-kilometre run for fun.
