The intense heat gripping Luxembourg this week shows no sign of easing, with Meteolux extending its red-level warning through Friday.
Authorities continue to advise residents to stay well hydrated and to limit strenuous outdoor physical activity wherever possible.
Temperatures are also predicted to reach extremely high levels during the weekend, so a further extension is in the cards.
