Wednesday morning saw two motorcycle accidents across Luxembourg, with both incidents resulting in injuries, emergency services have reported.

Two separate motorcycle accidents left one person injured each on Wednesday morning, according to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS).

The first incident occurred in Echternach, where a motorcyclist crashed in the industrial zone during the early morning hours. Local rescue teams from Echternach attended the scene, and the injured rider was taken to hospital.

A few hours later, at around 9.40am, a second collision took place on the N33 between Poteau de Kayl and Rumelange. A car and a motorcycle were involved in the crash, leaving the motorcyclist injured. Paramedics from Kayl and Rumelange were despatched, along with the Air Rescue helicopter. The injured rider was hospitalised.
