The first son of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie was born on 10 May 2020 at the Grand Duchess Charlotte Maternity Hospital.
Prince Charles Jean Philippe Joseph Marie Guillaume is second in line to the Luxembourg throne as the son of the Hereditary Grand Duke. As soon as his father is appointed Grand Duke in October, the young prince will move up to first in the line of succession.
Even today, the young prince often joins the Grand Ducal couple at public appearances, including in Steinsel, where a primary school named after the prince was inaugurated in March.
The second son of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie, Prince François, turned two in March.
