
According to the emergency services (CGDIS), the three most seriously injured victims were travelling in the same vehicle. Three others sustained only minor injuries.
One of the drivers succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while all remaining occupants were transported by ambulance to hospital for medical treatment. Two SAMU vehicles and two rescue helicopters were dispatched to the site.
The police, who had previously issued an appeal for witnesses, have renewed their call for information. Witnesses reported that a man and a woman assisted the victims immediately after the crash but left the scene before emergency services arrived. Authorities are urging these individuals to come forward and contact the police at upr.sia@police.etat.lu.
