Officers apprehended three individuals attempting to break into a house on Porte des Ardennes in Erpeldange, near Ettelbruck. A patrol was dispatched to the scene, where they managed to detain three suspects. The intruders were found in possession of burglary tools as well as stolen items. A report was filed at the request of the public prosecutor, and investigations are ongoing.
Elsewhere, at Route de Mersch in Gosseldange, burglars broke into a home through a window, ransacked several rooms, and stole various items. A formal investigation has been launched in this case as well.
Meanwhile, in Mersch, police provisionally confiscated the licence of a driver who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. The man had drawn attention to himself after scraping another vehicle while attempting to park, and even after the collision, was still unable to manoeuvre successfully into the space.
