Police responded to several calls related to suspected car break-ins throughout the weekend, with one of the incidents resulting in a short manhunt in Ingeldorf.

Around 2pm on Saturday afternoon, the police were alerted to two men in the parking lot of an industrial zone in Ingeldorf. The individuals were reportedly tampering with vehicles parked there.

A police patrol was dispatched to the scene and was able to apprehend one of the two suspects. The other fled into a wooded area but was found shortly afterwards. Both men and the vehicle they arrived in were checked. During the search, items were found that police believe to be stolen. Arrest warrants were issued for both men.

Another theft from a vehicle occurred on Sunday evening in Mersch. According to initial information, an unknown suspect stole a wallet. Police forensic services were on-site, and an investigation was launched.

A separate incident occurred during the night leading into Monday, as police received reports of two men tampering with car doors in Biwer. A patrol was dispatched and found a vehicle with a door still open. The two suspects were later identified, and items seized from them included money, bottles of perfume, sunglasses, mobile phones, and a watch.
