On Monday morning, police in Luxembourg City received reports alleging that seven individuals were involved in drug dealing at a local bar.
A patrol was despatched to the scene and conducted checks on the suspects. Officers found them in possession of small quantities of narcotics. All seven were taken into custody and brought to the police station for further investigation.
Following orders from the public prosecutor’s office, searches were carried out at three residential addresses and in a vehicle. Based on evidence gathered during these searches, the public prosecutor authorised the arrest of all seven individuals. They were subsequently presented before an examining magistrate later that afternoon.
