The Centre Hospitalier du Nord (CHdN) has announced a scheduled disruption of its main telephone network during the night of Wednesday, 7 May to Thursday, 8 May, from midnight to 2am. This planned outage is due to essential maintenance work aimed at improving long-term communication reliability at the hospital.
During the two-hour window, standard hospital phone lines will be temporarily unavailable, and patients or families will not be able to reach the hospital through the usual numbers. In case of medical emergencies, the CHdN can be contacted directly at +352 621 597 478. Non-urgent matters are advised to wait until after 2am when the phone network is expected to be fully restored.
Hospital officials apologised for any inconvenience the outage may cause and assured the public that alternative communication measures are in place to handle urgent needs. They emphasised that patient safety and well-being remain the hospital’s top priority, thanking the public for their understanding and cooperation during this brief service interruption.
