The news was announced by the National Defence Directorate on Thursday evening.
As of Thursday 16 December, anyone vaccinated for the first time receives a series of 20 codes that will give them access to certified antigenic self-tests at one of the five screening centres run by the Luxembourgish army.

The only drawback is that these codes cannot be used until 14 January 2022, and the free screening campaign will end on 28 February. Appointments can be made from 10 January on the covidtesting.lu website.
Details of the campaign will be unveiled at a press briefing to be held on 5 January 2022 at 11am.
