Luxembourg's beloved Schueberfouer returns on Friday, 21 August, transforming the Glacis into a bustling fairground for its 2026 edition.
While the official opening ceremony is set for 5pm, early visitors can already enjoy drinks from 11am, with food, rides, and merchandise stalls opening their doors from 12pm. This year, the fair will feature a total of 214 establishments, promising a packed and diverse experience for visitors of all ages.
Officials unveiled several new features for this year's edition three weeks ago, including four new attractions, a new food stand, and three new merchandise stalls. Among the highlights is Dr Archibald – Master of Time, a rollercoaster enhanced by virtual reality technology, offering a cutting-edge thrill for adventure seekers.
Other new rides include King Loop and Skater. Traditionalists will be pleased to hear that the classic Wilde Maus rollercoaster is making a comeback after an absence of over a decade.
Despite the new additions, safety measures will remain unchanged from previous years. Authorities have confirmed that there will be no entry checks or other security controls, in contrast to protocols at some other major events.
Those hoping to save should look out for special discount days throughout the fair. On Monday, 26 August, the first family day will feature reduced prices on rides. A second family day takes place on Monday, 2 September, this time with discounts on food.
As in previous years, the final day of the fair, Monday, 9 September, will also see special offers across the site.
