Authorities called off a large-scale search operation Tuesday afternoon after failing to find an elderly woman reportedly seen walking along the A6 motorway near the Strassen interchange. The multi-agency effort, which included police units with sniffer dogs, CGDIS personnel, and a police helicopter, was terminated around 4pm following an extensive sweep of the area.
The operation necessitated temporary closures of the Strassen interchange access roads. Police confirmed no individuals matching the description were located along the motorway or surrounding areas.
