
Authorities are investigating multiple vehicle-related thefts reported between Tuesday and Wednesday.
In Merl, thieves stole a bag from a car parked on Rue de Strassen Tuesday evening. The following morning in Grund, perpetrators broke into another vehicle on Bisserweg, smashing a window to steal a backpack among other items. Police have opened investigations into both incidents.
A separate incident occurred Tuesday afternoon in Diekirch, where officers apprehended three individuals allegedly attempting to break into vehicles. Police confirmed the suspects were found tampering with unlocked car doors before their arrest. An official incident report has been filed.
