The incident occurred at midday on Friday 17 May by the junction between Avenue Monterey and Boulevard Prince Henri. A motorist and pedestrian began arguing and the argument escalated.
The motorist grabbed the pedestrian's arm and began accelerating. According to the police, the pedestrian was dragged along a few metres and injured.
The police launched the call for witnesses on Tuesday. Witnesses should contact the Luxembourg City police at 244 40 4500.
