ISML – an authentic international school that fosters global and local connections

As a Cambridge International accredited school, ISML provides its learners with an internationally recognised curriculum that culminates in A Level qualifications, giving access to universities worldwide. Conscious of rapid economic and social changes, the curriculum at ISML is centred on equipping students with a set of indispensable transferable skills, allowing them to become problem solves, adaptive learner as well as effective communicators and responsible citizens.

ISML prides itself on being an international school with a global outlook as well as a local connection. With its approximately 800 students spanning primary and secondary, ISML is embedded within the wider Lycée Michel Lucius school community, where students can also work towards local school-leaving qualifications, encompassing business studies, engineering and natural sciences.

In a community of more than 70 nationalities, learners at Lycée Michel Lucius experience multiculturalism on a daily basis. While students enrolled in the international school (ISML) study towards International GCSE and A Level qualifications, entirely taught in English, they are also immersed in a truly multilingual community. This provides an excellent environment for our students to gain high-level qualifications in a wide range of languages ranging from Luxembourg’s languages (i.e., Luxembourgish, French and German) to some of our students’ home languages, such as Chinese or Arabic.

Further information regarding this year’s Open Day is available on the school’s website. Doors open this Saturday at 9am on the secondary school campus, located at 157, avenue Pasteur, L-2311, in the Limpertsberg residential area of Luxembourg.
