In a communication sent on Wednesday, the airline said services on its Luxembourg–Porto and Luxembourg–Lisbon routes are currently planned to operate, but delays are likely. Travellers flying from Porto and Lisbon to Luxembourg have also been advised to prepare for disruption to local public transport and to allow extra time to get to the airport.
Passengers are urged to arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure and to check the status of their flight in advance. Luxair said it will inform affected customers directly of any changes, using the contact details provided at the time of booking.
The airline apologised for any inconvenience caused by the situation and said it is monitoring developments closely, stressing that it is taking all possible steps to limit the impact of the strike.
