The report showed that the Grand Ducal family spent €19.3 million in 2024, coming in under their provisional budget. So far, they have used 87% of the funds initially allocated for the year.
The budget was revised to account for two major events: the visit of former Pope Francis and the appointment of the crown prince as lieutenant-representative in October.
The largest share of spending went to staff costs, totalling €13.6 million – an increase of €1 million compared to the previous year.
