The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported two car accidents, one motorcycle fall, and a fire on a balcony, in the early hours of Friday.

On Friday morning shortly after 6am, a motorcyclist fell on the A3 towards Luxembourg City, between Livange and the Croix de Bettembourg. The emergency doctor tended to the scene in addition to firefighters from Bettembourg and Dudelange. An ambulance from Bettembourg was also deployed to the accident.

At around 6.35am, two cars collided on the Route de Bastogne in Niederfeulen. One person was injured. Firefighters from Niederfeulen and paramedics from Nordstad intervened.

Shortly after 8am, another accident involving two cars occurred on the CR111 between Bascharage and Hivange. Representatives of the Bascharage fire services were aided by paramedics from Sanem-Differdange at the scene.

A fourth incident took place at approximately 8am in Rue Boltgen in Esch-sur-Alzette. Firefighters from Schifflange and Esch-sur-Alzette were called to intervene in a balcony fire. One person was injured.
