Luxembourg’s emergency services responded to four separate road incidents within a three-hour period on Tuesday morning, each resulting in one injury.
The series of accidents began at 5.40am when a motorcyclist crashed on Avenue John F. Kennedy in Luxembourg City. Exactly one hour later, emergency teams were despatched to Niederkorn where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Avenue de la Liberté.
At 7.30am, a motorcycle and car collided on Rue de Saeul in Kopstal. This was followed by another incident at 8.45am, when a three-vehicle crash occurred in the Howald Tunnel on the A1 motorway toward the Iergäertchen roundabout.
