At around 8.10 pm a police patrol checked a driver on the CR151 in Wellenstein. The man had caught the officers' attention after he had stopped on the side of the road and had some kind of 'physical issues'. The alcohol test was positive, the license was seized and the man was fined.
At roughly 9.30 pm, a damaged car was reported driving in direction of Vianden on Veianerstrooss in Walhausen. Shortly thereafter, there was a report saying that a motorist had driven into a road sign and a fence.
The police carried out a search and they were later able to identify the driver, tracking them down over the course of the evening. Once stopped and pulled over an alcohol test was administered and the result returned was positive, so the license was confiscated and the women received a fine.
