The lorry tipped over on the passenger side, on to the cycle path running alongside the road. Although both lanes on the road were kept open, traffic was disrupted and cycle path access was closed.
The driver, who suffered injuries in the accident, was taken to hospital. Emergency services on the scene included a Mertert ambulance and the fire services from Mertert and Wormeldange.
