A motorist lost control of their vehicle on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in a dramatic crash that sent the car through a private garden fence in Dahlem.
The incident occurred at around 3.20pm on Route des Trois Cantons near its junction with Rue de Hivange. According to initial reports, the driver failed to negotiate a right-hand curve, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway. The car subsequently struck a residential property’s fence, rolled multiple times, and came to rest in the garden.
Emergency responders from SAMU provided immediate medical attention before transporting the injured driver to a nearby hospital.
Authorities have closed the affected section of road between Rue de Hivange and the Dippach junction.
Other incidents reported by the emergency services on Wednesday include an crash involving two cars in Remich at 2.37pm that left one person injured and a collision between a motorcycle and a car in Hosingen that also left one person injured.
