Just days after a series of reductions brought fuel prices down by more than ten cents, diesel prices in Luxembourg are set to increase once more.

From Wednesday, 3 June, the price of diesel at the pump in Luxembourg will increase by 5.2 cents, bringing the cost up to €1.782 per litre. For motorists filling a standard 50-litre tank, this change means the price will now reach €89.10, compared to €86.50 previously.

This latest diesel hike also applies to other categories: heating oil will see its price rise by 5 cents to €1.216 per litre, while diesel for industrial and commercial use will increase by 5 cents to €1.336 per litre.

Agricultural and horticultural diesel is not exempt, with its price rising by 5.1 cents to €1.184 per litre.

No changes have been announced for 95 and 98 petrol prices, which will remain at their current rates.
