Post-election analysisCommunist Party (KPL) disappointed with the election results

RTL Today
Whilst perhaps not a joyous New Year's reception, the KPL examined the events of last year in Belvaux.

Deeming the election results disappointing as they did not get sworn in to the Chamber of Deputies, the party stressed that major changes must happen in the social area. The party did however acknowledge that there had been slight improvements.

The KPL also criticised the new government: despite the government's 'presents', such as one more vacation day and a new public holiday, a lot of work has to be done in the social domain.

Poverty continues to increase and despite hard work, workers do not reap any benefits. The KPL has stated it will go into the European Parliament elections with a clear vision and goal.
