Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, chief scout of all guides and scouts in Luxembourg, was awarded the Bronze Wolf on Saturday afternoon – the highest distinction in the global Scouting movement.
The ceremony took place in front of hundreds of Guides and Scouts in Neuhäusgen, where the future head of state accepted the award.
The Bronze Wolf is a rare honour granted for exceptional services to world Scouting. It was last awarded to a Luxembourgish royal 30 years ago, when Grand Duke Jean received the same recognition.
Guillaume has served as Chief Scout in Luxembourg since 4 October 2019.
