The UK Higher Education Fair, organised by the International School of Luxembourg (ISL) and the British Embassy, is set to take place on 14 May and will be open to all secondary school students in Luxembourg and their families.
The event will feature representatives from some of the UK’s top universities, offering an insight into a range of academic programs and the admissions process.
The students will have the opportunity to explore higher education options at leading institutions from the United Kingdom, and will get the chance to ask questions about student life in the UK, providing them with a better understanding of what to expect when studying abroad.
Additionally, the Luxembourg Service Aide Financière will be on hand to discuss financial support options for students pursuing studies abroad.
The UK Ambassador to Luxembourg, Joanne Olivier, emphasised the global reputation of UK universities for academic excellence and the rich, inclusive student experience they offer. She highlighted that the fair represents a valuable opportunity for students and their families to learn about the high-quality education and vibrant campus communities available in the UK.
Ambassador Olivier expressed her hope that the event will serve as a stepping stone for students embarking on their educational journeys.
The event takes place from 4pm to 6pm at the ISL Upper School, Building 3 in Hollerich, and promises to be an afternoon filled with valuable insights, offering both practical guidance and informal discussions about studying in the UK. Students and their families are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this chance to plan for their future academic endeavours.
