The suitcase was found in the Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg station and led to the interruption of all rail traffic. The CFL offered rail replacement buses between Dommeldange and the central station in Luxembourg City.
The police investigated the suitcase and determined that it was not a bomb threat. At 8.45pm, trains were allowed to pass through the station again.
