According to emergency services, the car was found in flames in Dahleim at around 10pm on Saturday evening.
The local fire brigade quickly managed to extinguish the fire.
Technical difficulties probably caused the fire and according to our sources, arson has been excluded as a possible cause.
The incident appears to have nothing to do with the string of car fires that have been occupying emergency services in the greater Luxembourg City area for the past few weeks now.
