The emergency services report five incidents on Luxembourg's roads on Wednesday, including an accident involving a wild boar.

On the CR226 between Itzig and Contern, one person was injured after a car hit a wild boar around 6.23am. The Findel ambulance and Hesperange firefighters responded to the scene.

At 6.57am, two cars collided in Pétange, leaving one person injured. Emergency crews from Pétange and Käerjeng were dispatched to the site.

Around 4.30pm, the CGDIS reported three additional incidents. In Schoenfels, two vehicles collided, injuring one person. At the same time, a fire broke out on a ship in Remich, though no one was hurt. On the Lipperscheid-Dellt road, another collision between two vehicles left two people injured.
