Two Porsches were stolen from a garage in Luxembourg on Tuesday afternoon around 3pm, according to Le Républicain Lorrain.

The stolen cars – a Porsche 911 Dakar and a Porsche RS Spyder – were reported missing immediately, and authorities, including French police, were alerted.

Around 6pm, both vehicles were spotted near the Linkling industrial zone in Thionville and intercepted by the anti-crime brigade.

Two people in their twenties who were inside one of the cars were arrested, while the driver of the second vehicle managed to escape on foot. French police have taken charge of the investigation in cooperation with their Luxembourg counterparts.

The Grand Ducal Police have not yet released further information about the incident.
