Electric utility company Creos confirmed that Walferdange experienced a power outage on Wednesday morning.

According to municipal authorities, the town hall was also affected, meaning that the citizens' office, civil registry, and accounting and billing services were not operational.

Creos communicated that there was reportedly a breakdown during work, which has been resolved.
