The police are searching for the driver of a white van who fled the scene after causing a six-vehicle pile-up on the A1 motorway near Kirchberg on Monday morning.
Luxembourg police are appealing for witnesses to locate the driver of a white van responsible for a multi-vehicle collision and subsequent hit-and-run on the A1 motorway on Monday morning.
The incident, which involved six vehicles, occurred on Monday, 13 October, on the A1 towards Gasperich near the Kirchberg area. Preliminary information indicates that the driver who caused the accident failed to stop and continued driving towards Kirchberg.
Authorists describe the wanted vehicle as a white van with two posters affixed to its rear.
The police are asking the driver involved, or any witnesses who can provide information about the vehicle or its driver, to contact the traffic police via email at upr.sia@police.etat.lu.
