On Tuesday and overnight, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to multiple road accidents across Luxembourg, which left several people injured, alongside two reported fires.

On late Tuesday morning, a person was injured when two cars collided on Rue de Crauthem in Peppange.

Three further collisions were reported throughout the afternoon: at 2.26pm, an accident on the N12 in Asselborn towards Wickrange left one person hurt, at 2.43pm, two cars crashed in Ellange, again injuring one person. Later, at 3.41pm, an accident on the A1 between a car and a motorcycle resulted in another injury.

In the evening, at around 6pm, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on the A13 between Hellange and Frisange, in the direction of Schengen. Several cars were involved and two people were injured. Fire brigades from Frisange and Bettembourg, along with an ambulance crew, were dispatched to the scene.

Overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, two further people were injured in separate accidents in Lamadelaine and Lintgen. Several vehicles were involved in the Lamadelaine crash.

And finally, the CGDIS also reported two fires on Tuesday, one in Eschdorf and another in Ingeldorf.
