Merchant, businessman and founder of the City Concorde shopping centre, Jean Bram passed away a week and a half ago, according to obituaries published in the Luxemburger Wort over the weekend and on Tuesday.

Jean Bram founded the City Concorde shopping centre in Helfent, Bertrange, in 1974, along with his clothing store which, with its 11,000 square metres of space, eventually became the largest in the Greater Region. City Concorde today has 100 shops.

Previously, Jean Bram owned several other, smaller Bram stores in the city, for example on Rue de Strasbourg and Rue Sainte-Zithe in Luxembourg City.

Four years ago, the German group Breuninger took over the Bram Group.
