Grand Duke Henri hosted his final National Day garden parties at Berg Castle this week ahead of October's abdication.
Berg Castle welcomed approximately 340 guests on Wednesday for the first of two annual garden parties held in honour of Luxembourg's National Day celebrations.
The event, organised by the Grand Ducal Court, brought together prominent figures from political, economic, cultural, and sporting spheres to mingle with members of the royal family.
A second reception followed on Friday, with attendees having the opportunity to converse with Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie, and Prince Louis.
This year's gatherings hold particular historical significance as they mark the final garden parties hosted by Grand Duke Henri before his scheduled abdication in October.
Beginning in 2026, the tradition will continue under the stewardship of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, who will ascend to the throne following his father's departure.
