At precisely 2.47pm, numerous districts of Luxembourg City suffered a power outage.

The districts affected by blackouts included Weimerskirch, Pfaffenthal, Grund, Kirchberg, Neudorf, Clausen and Cents.

The interruption was caused by a technical incident at the "Kirchberg B" station of Creos. The Creos team, as stated on the official website, "intervened quickly" to restore the power supply. The outage lasted 33 minutes.

Creos apologised for the incident and any inconvenience caused.
