As of right now, there are only enough blood supplies to provide hospitals in the country for one more week, announces Croix Rouge.

The recent school holidays as well as the increase in respiratory diseases have contributed to less blood donations, and thus stocks have gone down drastically. The situation is dire, and Croix Rouge does not know whether it can be fixed between now and the end of the year. They appeal to the population to make an appointment and donate blood if possible.
Details can be found on their website: dondusang.lu

Their goal is to achieve normal stock levels again, which averagely suffices for two weeks. In total that would mean 800 blood reserves.
