From 3 to 8 November 2025, safety tests will take place on Place de l’Europe in Kirchberg due to the installation of physical barriers around the square, among other works.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, but overall accessibility to the site will be significantly reduced. The area will be closed to cyclists for the duration of the works.
The "Trois Glands" car park will be closed on 5 November, while the Place de l’Europe car park will be accessible only to drivers coming from Kirchberg.
Authorities advise pedestrians to keep away from barbed-wire barriers to avoid injury. Officials noted that the tests are limited to installing physical infrastructure: no exercises or deployments involving police units will take place.
Police drones will fly over the site during the works to document the installation.
