On Friday, ten new petitions were published online, which need to receive 4,500 signatures in order to be considered for a debate in the Chamber of Deputies on 7 November.

One petition calls for stricter and more regular animal kennel controls, in addition to the kennels' mandatory registration on a government-approved list. This petition follows August's saddening news that several dogs died at a dog hotel.

Another petition demands for a limit of 10% taxes on salaries. Furthermore, the right to strike needs to be facilitated, and there is a need for more traffic mirrors in spots where visibility is restricted.

A different petition calls for the simplification of importing second-hand vehicles with regards to providing earlier purchasing invoices.

A petition on extending the burial time in Luxembourg from 72 hours to 120 hours argues that the Grand Duchy's time rules are very short compared to other European countries, and that this would greatly improve both the mourning and organisational process.

Moreover, a petition call for the CNS, the National Health Fund, to reimburse acupuncture and treatments for male erectile dysfunctions.

Another requests that the government should instate an overarching compulsory vaccination for any potential upcoming pandemics.

All petitions can be found on the Chamber website.
