In the night leading up to Wednesday a police patrol noticed a suspicious man at Place de Paris.

As soon as the suspect saw the officers he quickly made his way toward Avenue de la Liberté. The police were able to stop him shortly afterwards. During the examination the man tried to throw something away, which is when the police officers realised it was a plastic ball filled with 26 small bags of cocaine.

The man was arrested as ordered by the prosecutor’s office and the drugs were taken away. The presumed drug dealer will be presented to the examining magistrate this Wednesday afternoon.
