The police are seeking information regarding two separate thefts committed in Luxembourg in recent months.

The first incident occurred on 8 October 2024 at 8.17pm, when a money box containing cash was stolen from a restaurant on Rue Fort Neipperg, in Luxembourg City's Gare district.

The suspect is described as a man around 1.70m tall, of slim build, with light skin, short grey hair, and a grey beard. He was reportedly wearing a black jumper at the time of the theft.

Pickpocket sought after

In a separate case, police have also launched an appeal to identify a pickpocket operating in Luxembourg.

On 18 January 2025 at around 10.20am, a theft took place at a cash machine in Mamer, where the suspect withdrew a large sum of money using the victim's bank card.
